We’re starting by helping independent restaurants succeed online. But it’s not just restaurants that need our help. Most local businesses are struggling with these same problems. Huge technology corporations are taking their customers, bleeding their profits, and making it hard for them to survive. Once we nail the solution for restaurants – we’ll scale it into every other local business type. In the future we envision, tens of millions of local business owners will use our technology to succeed in the digital age.

Since 2020, we've generated tens of millions in revenue and processed over a billion dollars of online orders. 1 in 5 Americans have used an Owner.com website. More importantly, we’ve helped over 20,000 restaurant owners, and saved them nearly $200 million in fees.

Our team is now in the low hundreds. We’ve got top talent from the most successful companies in SMB software, including: Shopify, HubSpot, DoorDash, ServiceTitan, Rappi, Faire and Stripe. We’ll be scaling even faster in 2026 to keep pace with our customer growth.

Where we work

Owner is a remote-first, global company headquartered in San Francisco, with a sales hub in Toronto. For a few of our roles we prioritize in‑person collaboration at one of our office locations. Why we're looking for you

We're looking for a high-performing Talent Sourcer to build and own the top‑of‑funnel pipeline that powers our Engineering team's growth. In this role you'll be a dedicated sourcing engine, focused on market mapping, candidate research, and creative outreach strategies to surface world‑class technical talent before anyone else does. This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.

The impact you will have

• Build and maintain a rich, continuously refreshed pipeline of high‑caliber engineering talent to meet both current and future hiring needs.
• Own market mapping efforts: research the competitive landscape, identify target companies and profiles, and develop a deep understanding of where top engineering talent lives.
• Design and execute creative, data-driven sourcing strategies to surface and engage passive candidates, especially for highly competitive engineering roles.
• Lead high-volume, high-quality candidate outreach and pitch our mission and team with authenticity and clarity.
• Track and analyze sourcing metrics to continuously refine targeting, messaging, and channel effectiveness.

Minimum requirements

• 3+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience with a consistent track record of building pipelines for world‑class engineering talent.
• Deep sourcing expertise: fluency with LinkedIn Recruiter, AI recruiting tools, talent mapping, and outreach sequencing tools.
• A data-driven mindset: you track response rates, conversion rates, and channel performance and use that data to improve.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage large pipelines across multiple roles simultaneously without dropping the ball.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and resourceful: you operate with urgency and take ownership without waiting to be told.
• A growth mindset and a high standard: you care deeply about quality and are always looking to refine your craft.
