Opening Summary
We're working with a well-established precision manufacturer seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker to join their team. This is a hands-on opportunity supporting progressive stamping operations, where you'll build, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain tooling that keeps production running efficiently.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $25.00 - $34.00/hour
- Shift: 1st or 2nd Shift Available
- Overtime available, including Saturdays as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Build, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain progressive stamping dies.
- Diagnose tooling issues and make necessary adjustments to minimize downtime.
- Perform die maintenance, sharpening, fitting, and assembly.
- Work closely with production and engineering to improve tooling performance.
- Operate manual machining equipment such as mills, lathes, grinders, and surface grinders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Tool & Die Maker in a metal stamping environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and work from engineering drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and precision machining skills.
- Experience with progressive dies preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
