STEMI

NSTEMI

Chest Pain (C/P)

Cardiothoracic Surgery (CTS) patients

Cardiac telemetry patients

Units Available:

5J Intermediate

7L IMCU

Float Pool.

Unit Details

Float to all PCU/IMCU units

May also float to telemetry beds within the same unit for lower-acuity patients

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3–4

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMCU experience in a similar-sized acute care hospital

Experience caring for cardiac patient populations

Experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring

Experience managing the following cardiac drips:Milrinone

Dobutamine

Pressors (vasopressors)

Required Certifications

BLS (AHA)

ACLS (AHA)

EMR

EPIC (Required)
