Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) – Full Time Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) Ellicott City Healthcare Center Location: Ellicott City, MD Position Overview Ellicott City Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to join our team for the 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM day shift . In this role, you will provide essential daily care and support to our residents, helping to ensure their comfort, safety, and quality of life. If you are caring, reliable, and committed to making a difference, we would love to have you on our team. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff Take and record vital signs as assigned Provide companionship and emotional support to residents Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines Qualifications Current GNA certification in the state of Maryland (required) High school diploma or equivalent preferred CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Prior long-term care experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and teamwork skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Schedule Full-Time Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Includes every other weekend and rotating holidays Benefits Competitive pay rates Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) 401(k) retirement plan Opportunities for advancement and career growth Supportive team environment Why Join Ellicott City Healthcare Center?
