Cook - Food Service Department
Grand Villa of Englewood is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our dynamic food service team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a caring community environment by preparing nutritious and appealing meals for our residents. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and safety standards are consistently met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a culinary or food preparation role
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions accurately
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
