Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Float Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU position requiring 2+ years of cardiac experience, Epic EMR proficiency, and active ACLS and BLS certifications.

Details

• Float position covering Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU units
• Patient population includes cardiac patients, post-cardiac catheterization cases, and general med/surg telemetry
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend requirement (Friday and Saturday nights for night shift)
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand; licensure verifiable via Nursys
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required — must reflect prior clinical need, not obtained solely for compliance purposes
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac experience required, including care of post-cardiac cath and PCU patients
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration
