Registered Nurse - Cardiac Specialty Unit

Location: Overland Park, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7A - 7P. Self-scheduling with weekends: three weekend shifts in a four-week period on day shift.

Job Description: Join our brand new Cardiac Progressive Stepdown unit, offering advanced care for patients post-cardiac procedures. Collaborate with a dedicated team to provide exceptional patient care in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac patients.
• Monitor and manage patients receiving IV medication titrations (including cardiac, heparin, insulin, etc.).
• Work collaboratively with charge nurses, PCTs, and unit secretaries to ensure efficient unit operations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Telemetry experience required.
• Advanced skills in managing cardiac patients post-procedure required.
• No specific certifications required.
