Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, encompassing physical exams and comprehensive medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of lab results and imaging studies
• Partner with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support by preparing surgical environments, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wound care, planning discharges, and offering patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices is highly preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
