This correctional facility delivers outpatient and clinic-based primary care and urgent care services to an adult patient population within a secure clinical environment in Albuquerque, NM. The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery, with on-site support staff including nurses, paramedics, and EMTs to assist with daily clinical operations. Clinical workflows are structured to address both chronic care management and acute care needs of the patient population served.

Albuquerque, NM offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and cultural experiences suited to varied interests. Outdoor pursuits include hiking and biking in the Sandia foothills, kayaking the Rio Grande, and exploring Petroglyph National Monument. The city holds the longest continuous urban stretch of Route 66 in the country at 18 miles, and additional attractions include the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway, which ascends to a 10,378-foot summit, as well as museums, murals, trolley tours, and hot air balloon rides throughout the area.

Clinicians will provide outpatient and clinic-based primary care and urgent care services to adult patients at a correctional facility in Albuquerque, NM, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with consideration for four 10-hour shifts. The expected caseload is 10-15 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing both chronic care management and urgent care procedures. Candidates must be comfortable with urgent care procedures as well as the management of chronic conditions within a correctional clinical environment. Required credentials include a New Mexico license, DEA registration, and ACLS certification; board certification is negotiable.
