This Fulfillment Buyer within the Indirect Procurement team will support purchases for several Starlink locations. The Indirect Procurement team has aggressive objectives that positively impact our product and bottom line. We are looking for the right person who is equipped and ready for these challenges to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES:Issue purchase orders quickly and without errorEnsure purchase orders are acknowledged by suppliersObtain the original promise date from suppliersReview open order reports and manage deliveriesResolve invoice issues and ensure that vendors are paid on timeExpedite parts as necessaryAct as customer service for SpaceX internal customersSupport buyers in cost savings initiativesLead miscellaneous procurement projectsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree OR 4+ years of experience working in a supply chain or operationsPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Purchasing experience, specifically related to Indirect buyingRemarkable problem-solving skills with a bias for speedAbility to learn quickly and prioritize appropriately to meet customer and company needsExcellent customer service skillsEffective written, verbal and presentation communication skillsExceptional analytical and organizational skillsStrong technical knowledge of MS Office SuiteAbility to conduct all activities with the highest degree of integrityDetail-oriented, self-motivated and able to respond quickly to a fast-moving and ever-changing environmentAbility to type >50 WPMADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as neededMust be willing to travel to other sites as neededITAR REQUIREMENTS:To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
