Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting preferred
• Understanding of classroom management and ability to implement teacher-designed plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to support students with various learning needs
• Patience, adaptability, and a commitment to student success
• High school diploma or equivalent (higher education or relevant certifications a plus)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering instructional activities and reinforcing lesson content
• Provide individualized or small-group support to students
• Help monitor student behavior and classroom participation
• Support students with special needs, adapting materials and strategies as needed
• Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
• Document student progress and communicate observations to the teaching team
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, or transitions as assigned
