We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Marvin and Betty Danto Health Care Center in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan, USA. About the Role

As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will work closely with our physical therapist to design and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with a wide range of conditions and diagnoses. You will be responsible for conducting evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing physical therapy interventions to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist

• Provide physical therapy interventions to patients, including exercises, stretches, and other forms of physical therapy

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of treatment areas and equipment

• Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care

• Participate in continuous education and professional development to advance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program from an accredited institution

• Current PTA certification in the state of Michigan

• 12 months of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
