In addition to in-home services, ABS offers center-based ABA therapy at our clinic in Malverne, NY , where students receive individualized support in a structured setting.

Role Overview

As a Behavior Technician (ABA Therapist) at our Malverne ABA Center , you’ll work 1:1 with students in a clinic setting , implementing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by a supervising BCBA. You’ll help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills in a structured, supportive environment.

Daily Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA therapy to children in a center/clinic setting

• Engage students in structured, goal-oriented activities

• Implement ABA strategies (prompting, modeling, reinforcement, redirection, DTT)

• Collect session data and maintain progress documentation

• Collaborate with BCBAs, supervisors, and clinic staff

• Communicate effectively with families and team members

Qualifications

• Education in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology

• Preferred: Active RBT certification (not required — training provided)

• Experience working with children (autism/developmental needs preferred)

• Strong communication skills and reliability

• Compassionate, engaging, and adaptable professional approach

  • August only : Mon–Thu, 4:00–7:00 PM (15 hrs/week)
  • September : Mon–Fri, 3:00–6:00 PM

• 3 y/o Male – Mon–Fri, 3:00–6:00 PM 

• 5 y/o Male – Mon–Fri, 3:00–6:00 PM
