This role is an excellent opportunity for a licensed survey professional who enjoys the technical and project management aspects of surveying and wants to play an important role in delivering high-quality survey products for our clients.Our Survey team supports a diverse range of commercial projects, with a strong focus on ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and other boundary and topographic surveying services. In this role, you will work closely with project managers, surveyors, engineers, and clients to oversee survey projects from initial scope through final deliverables.This is an in-office position focused on survey production, project coordination, and quality control. The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a collaborative environment.Work Location: On-site with flexible work arrangementsPay Rate Type: Salary (Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications)ResponsibilitiesPerform and oversee professional land surveying activities, with a primary focus on commercial projects and ALTA/NSPS Land Title SurveysReview survey data, field information, deeds, plats, title commitments, easements, and other relevant documents to identify and resolve potential issuesPrepare, review, and certify ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and other survey deliverablesProvide technical guidance and quality control for survey projects and deliverablesCoordinate with internal project teams, including civil engineers, survey staff, and project managers, to support successful project deliveryCommunicate with clients, attorneys, title companies, and other project stakeholders regarding survey scope, requirements, and deliverablesInterpret and apply applicable surveying standards, regulations, and client requirementsAssist with project scoping, scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordinationReview survey drawings and documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirementsHelp identify opportunities to improve survey processes, standards, and efficienciesProvide mentorship and technical support to other members of the Survey team as neededMaintain current knowledge of industry standards, technology, and best practicesRequirementsProfessional Land Surveyor (PLS) license requiredExperience with commercial land surveying, with significant experience preparing or reviewing ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys strongly preferredStrong understanding of boundary surveying principles, legal descriptions, easements, title documents, and property research.Experience reviewing and interpreting deeds, plats, title commitments, and other land recordsStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality workAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and project team membersProficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or survey-related softwareAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary teamStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsExperience providing technical guidance or mentoring to other survey professionals is a plusExperience level may vary; candidates with the appropriate licensure and technical experience are encouraged to applyPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentWork is primarily performed in an office environmentAbility to occasionally move equipment/objects weighing up to 10 poundsBenefit InformationRegular full-time employees will have access to:Medical, dental, and vision plansHSA and FSA optionsEmployer-paid short-term and long-term disability coverageEmployer-paid life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment insuranceEmployee assistance programVoluntary benefits such as additional life insurance coverage, accident coverage, and critical illness coveragePaid time off and holidaysRetirement 401(k) plan with company matchSambatek, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in its workforce.
