Warehouse Clerk

6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday (No overtime or weekends) Work in a Climate-Controlled Warehouse! Pay Rate - 17.00/HR - 18/HR (DOE)

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensures the accuracy of all shipping/receiving documents and gathers and maintains all data and records relative to shipping/receiving activities.
2. Prepares shipments by assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling containers.
3. Determines method of shipment by examining items to be shipped, destination, route, and time of shipment.
4. Ships items by verifying identifying information, quantity, and condition of items; loading and protecting items.
5. Documents items shipped by recording identifying information of items and transport information.
6. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
7. Conducts daily cycle counts.
8. Receives freight orders and subdivides into separate product category for verification and stocking activities.
9. Verifies (recounts) orders received by others to ensure accuracy of incoming merchandise.
10. Utilize RMS to ascertain number, size, color, and quantity of merchandise to be picked from bins, shelves, or locations.
11. Picks customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
12. Utilize material handling equipment, safely and efficiently, to transport product to shipping locations or delivery platforms and ensuring orders are staged in order of delivery.
13. Organize items of pallet by unit as necessary and repacks and weigh orders which require special handling.

Education and Experience

1. High school diploma or GED
2. Previous shipping/receiving experience is preferred
3. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and a basic understanding of Excel

Physical Demands & Work Environment

1. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility
2. Ability to lift 45 lbs.
3. Ability to crouch/squat 5 or more times daily
4. Ability to use hand tools overhead performing tasks
