Director of Workforce Analytics
$175k - $185kAtrium
About Atrium Founded in 1995, Atrium is a WBENC‑certified leader in Extended Workforce Management and Talent Solutions, blending technology and human expertise to help leading brands reimagine how work gets done. Atrium delivers its market-leading solutions through four divisions: Talent Solutions, AtriumWORKS™, HR Advisory Services, and Atrium Innovation Research™ (AIR). All offerings integrate seamlessly to create flexible programs built for the evolving world of work. Overview The Director of Workforce Analytics will lead Atrium’s effort to centralize analytics and reporting under one team, running two parallel tracks from day one: delivering structured reporting for Atrium clients while simultaneously building a reliable internal analytics foundation, ensuring data is leveraged as a strategic asset to drive business intelligence, operational excellence, and client value. This leader will work closely with client-facing teams, Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Operations to deliver repeatable client reporting, deploy self-service analytics, predictive modeling, and Data-as-a-Service solutions, and establish governance and accountability across both client and internal reporting, making analytics scalable, trusted, and repeatable across the organization. Over time, client coverage will expand, internal self-service tools will go live, and the two tracks will converge into a single, unified analytics capability serving the full organization. Pay Rate: $175,000–$185,000 base salary, plus bonus eligibility, with expected on-target earnings of $200,000+. Responsibilities Build and lead Atrium’s client reporting program, launching with a focused scope of top client accounts and expanding as the team and infrastructure mature. Work directly with client account teams to translate data into actionable insights that improve program ROI. Partner with client-facing teams to deliver market insights, benchmarking, and opportunity analysis that strengthen relationships and renewals. Conduct program analysis to uncover optimization opportunities, interpret key trends, and present findings during ABRs, QBRs, and ad hoc executive meetings. Develop and deploy analytics that enhance account health, program optimization, and demand management, ensuring insights lead to measurable outcomes. Establish a Data-as-a-Service business model and identify opportunities to monetize insights and reporting. Support Sales and pre‑RFP efforts by creating compelling analytics and narratives that differentiate Atrium and improve win rates. Translate complex data into clear, executive‑ready stories, owning the narrative from analysis through delivery. Develop and execute a data strategy aligned with client delivery models and growth goals. Establish and enforce governance standards to ensure accuracy, privacy, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. Define and maintain consistent metrics and definitions so reporting is trusted and scalable. Implement data risk management practices, including access controls, retention policies, and audits, in partnership with Security and Legal teams. Partner with Technology, Product, and Operations teams to ensure reliable data delivery across systems such as VMS, FMS, CRM, ERP, and HRIS. Oversee and contribute to data engineering standards and promote repeatable data‑product patterns, including reliability, access controls, and quality checks. Evaluate and deploy advanced data platforms and tools supporting automation, AI, and visualization, such as Power BI, Tableau, and Snowflake. Drive continuous improvement in data quality, accessibility, and system integration. Run the internal analytics build as a concurrent track by conducting a full inventory of existing reports, clarifying metric definitions, simplifying recurring reports, and reducing manual work. Partner with Shared Services, Operations, Finance, HR, and Compliance to provide data‑driven insights and implement self‑service analytics. Deliver process intelligence through dashboards tracking cycle time, backlog, touchpoints, rework, and SLA performance. Build and lead a high‑performing analytics team, providing coaching and development to enhance technical, analytical, and consultative capabilities. Set clear expectations, foster accountability, and create a culture of continuous improvement, curiosity, and operational excellence. Model a builder mindset by working alongside the team while shaping a scalable analytics structure that grows with Atrium’s needs. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in analytics or data leadership within staffing, workforce solutions, HR technology, consulting, or a comparable services environment. Demonstrated experience building client‑facing analytics and reporting and translating insights into business value, including retention, expansion, and revenue growth. Strong ability to partner across Sales, Marketing, and client teams to create repeatable, product‑like analytics offerings. Working knowledge of governance, privacy, and compliance considerations, as well as data quality expectations for client deliverables. Physical Requirements Ability to sit in a desk for an extended period of time. Must be able to travel to Atrium’s NYC headquarters on a monthly basis and as needed.
