As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control in Taylor PA this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.73 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

03:00 PM - 07:00 PM

08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points verify credentials manage visitor and driver entry procedures and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas loading docks business operations and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity.
• Support the flow of authorized personnel deliveries and commercial vehicles while following site-specific access-control requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
