Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current Registered Nurse license Certifications: Current CPR/BLS Card, ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs. - Capability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team. - Skill in providing explanations and instructions to patients or responsible persons. - Demonstrated ability to use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition. - Competence in contributing to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills. - Commitment to meeting core measure responsibilities related to patient care. - Participation in continuing education and maintaining complete and accurate medical records. Description: The position involves working three 12-hour shifts, with on-call duties as required. No block scheduling requests can be guaranteed. This role requires providing excellent patient care and support within the operating room environment. The nurse will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality health services. Ongoing professional development is encouraged and supported.
