We're a dynamic team on a mission to provide better healthcare options for Houstonians!The Pharmacist-in-Charge is responsible for the legal operation of Clara Rx LLC and ensuring compliance with all Texas State Board of Pharmacy regulations, DEA requirements, HIPAA regulations, and company policies.Essential Responsibilities:Regulatory ComplianceMaintain pharmacy compliance with TSBP rules.Serve as primary contact for TSBP inspections.Ensure controlled substance compliance.Maintain required pharmacy records.Clinical OversightVerify all prescriptions.Review drug interactions.Ensure patient safety.Provide patient counseling.Operational ManagementSupervise pharmacists and technicians.Monitor inventory management.Oversee medication storage requirements.Investigate medication errors.Quality AssuranceImplement quality improvement activities.Review incident reports.Conduct policy reviews annually.ComplianceFollow all company policies.Report medication errors immediately.Assist during inspections.RequirementsActive Texas Pharmacist License.Eligible to serve as Pharmacist-in-ChargeKnowledge of Texas Pharmacy Act and DEA regulations.
