Temporary Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Join our team as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant, playing a vital role in expanding access to dental services and supporting providers chairside to enhance patient care. Responsibilities Maintaining patient records, updating medical histories and vital signs Performing complete X-ray procedures and managing electronic dental records Assisting with periodontal charting, preparing instruments, and setting up for exams Mixing materials with infection control awareness Providing preventative care such as polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants Educating patients on oral hygiene and assisting in infection control protocols Supporting orthodontic procedures, including record collection and appliance placement Performing clinical duties aligned with regulatory standards and performing additional assigned tasks Qualifications High School Diploma or GED EFDA certification within 90 days of employment Bilingual (English/Spanish) at a high proficiency level Basic knowledge of dental terminology, materials, and infection control Manual dexterity and strong interpersonal skills Proficiency with electronic records and standard computer programs Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days This position offers competitive pay, additional bilingual pay, and opportunities to contribute to community health through a holistic, inclusive approach. #J-18808-Ljbffr Seacrest Behavioral Health
