Sales & Marketing Director – Senior Living

Charter Senior Living | Jackson, TN

$65,000 – $70,000/year + Bonus Potential | Full-Time

Charter Senior Living is seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Sales & Marketing Director to lead census development for our Jackson, Tennessee community.

This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in consultative sales — not transactional selling. Families rely on you during important life decisions, and your guidance helps them feel confident choosing a safe, supportive home for their loved one.

Our mission, To Enhance the Human Spirit , guides how we care for residents and how we support our team members. You’ll have the autonomy to build partnerships, host events, and develop referral sources while working alongside a collaborative leadership team.

What You’ll Do Lead Community Census Growth

• Conduct tours, discovery meetings, and family consultations

• Follow up with prospects using CRM/lead management systems

• Convert inquiries into move-ins through relationship-based selling

• Maintain and grow occupancy goals

Develop Referral Partnerships

• Build relationships with hospitals, rehab centers, physicians, case managers, and local organizations

• Represent the community at networking and outreach events

• Coordinate professional visits and marketing presentations

Marketing & Event Leadership

• Plan open houses, educational events, and community outreach programs

• Collaborate with operations and clinical leadership to ensure smooth move-ins

• Manage lead tracking, pipeline management, and reporting

Qualifications

• Previous senior living, healthcare, or consultative sales experience preferred

• Experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Home Health, or Hospice sales a plus

• Strong closing skills and follow-up discipline

• Comfortable working with families in emotional decision-making situations

• Organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented

• CRM or lead management system experience preferred
