Afternoon Baker – Doughnut Plant

Doughnut Plant, a pioneer in artisanal doughnuts, is seeking   Baker’s Assistants   to join our passionate and dedicated team. We take pride in crafting high-quality, handmade doughnuts using the finest ingredients, and we are looking for individuals who share our commitment to excellence.

About the Role:

As a Baker, you will support the production team in preparing, shaping, and finishing our signature doughnuts. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on bakery environment and is eager to grow within the company. You will work alongside experienced bakers, learning valuable techniques and contributing to the production of our world-famous doughnuts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, mixing, and shaping of doughnuts.
• Help with frying, glazing, and finishing doughnuts according to Doughnut Plant’s standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Support the team in measuring ingredients, handling baking equipment, and ensuring consistency in production.
• Follow recipes and production guidelines to maintain the high quality of our doughnuts.
• Assist in packing and preparing orders for retail and wholesale distribution.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a bakery, bread, bagel, or pastry production facility is a plus.
• Passion for baking and an eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Food Handler’s Certificate is a big plus.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Availability for   Overnight shifts  (flexibility is a plus).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
