We are seeking a SAP IBP Consultant to join our team.


This SAP IBP Consultant role will involve designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise supply chain planning solutions using SAP Integrated Business Planning. The ideal SAP IBP Consultant will have deep experience across SAP IBP modules and a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes. As a SAP IBP Consultant , you will collaborate with business stakeholders to translate planning requirements into scalable technical solutions. This SAP IBP Consultant position is well suited for professionals passionate about supply chain optimization, analytics, and SAP-based planning solutions.

Job Description


The SAP IBP Consultant is responsible for implementing, enhancing, and supporting SAP Integrated Business Planning solutions to enable effective supply chain decision-making. This role focuses on SAP IBP modules including Order-Based Planning (OBP), Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Supply Planning, and Control Tower, along with data integration using CPI-DS or RTI with S/4HANA.


The role requires strong functional and technical expertise, the ability to lead requirement-gathering workshops, perform fit-gap analysis, design analytics and reporting solutions, and ensure stable system operations in an Agile delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for SAP IBP, addressing user inquiries and resolving functional or technical issues.
• Implement and configure SAP IBP modules including OBP, S&OP, Supply, and Control Tower .
• Design and manage data integration between SAP IBP and S/4HANA using CPI-DS or RTI .
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Lead requirement-gathering workshops, capture business needs, and perform solution fit-gap analysis.
• Design planning models, analytics, and reporting templates within SAP IBP.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define systems strategy, solution architecture, and implementation roadmaps.
• Support Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure stakeholders are informed of milestones and outcomes.
• Consistently deliver high-quality client services aligned with business objectives.

Required Experience & Skills

• 6-8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) .
• Strong expertise in SAP IBP modules: Supply Planning and S&OP (6-8+ years) .
• Experience with Order-Based Planning (OBP) and Control Tower (preferred, 4+ years).
• 6+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning processes , including S&OP, demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply planning.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and logistics processes .
• Experience with SAP IBP data integration using CPI-DS or RTI with S/4HANA (5+ years) .
• Applications modeling knowledge within SAP IBP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred / Additional Skills

• Experience defining systems strategy, requirements, prototyping, and solution design.
• Technical knowledge of RDBMS concepts , schemas, and system environments.
• Basic SQL querying skills.
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate functional needs into technical solutions.
