Burn Table Operator

Employment Type: Full-time, hourly Compensation: $18 - $28 per hour, depending on experience Location: Plymouth, UT GBI in Plymouth, UT is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Burn Table Operator to join our fabrication team. If you have a strong background in machine operation, overhead crane experience, and a commitment to safety and quality we encourage you to apply and become a part of our team. Responsibilities Adhere to all company safety rules and procedures Follow operational instructions outlined by plate processing manager Maintain accurate records of part numbers, job numbers, and cut sheets Keep work area organized, clean, and safe Report any dimensional discrepancies to the plate processing manager or QA/QC team Requirements Prior experience in operating burn tables preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work Ability to operate handheld grinders, overhead cranes, forklifts, read a tape measure, and lift 50 lbs. Good communication skills for reporting and coordination Ability to maintain an organized and clean work environment Physical Demands Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds Perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods (8-12+ hour shifts) Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl for prolonged periods Reach overhead and work with arms extended Climb ladders, work in manlifts up to 25 feet above ground Work in confined spaces and at elevated heights when required Work Environment Exposure to dust, noise, and industrial hazards Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times Schedule Requirements Ability to work extended hours, including overtime, weekends, or swing shifts as needed to meet project deadlines This position requires the ability to perform all essential job functions safely and effectively, with or without reasonable accommodation.
