Work Environment\nThis position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in the work schedule, which typically runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. As a member of our team, you will engage in meaningful interactions with patients through telehealth platforms, ensuring effective communication and continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans that reflect their experiences. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting methodologies to resonate with individual patients' cultural backgrounds and personal histories. \n
- Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, effectively addressing mental health concerns and fostering resilience among clients. \n
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to deliver coordinated care that meets the holistic needs of our patients. \n
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and compassionate care. \n
- Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment modalities, and available community resources to empower their healing process. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system. \n
- Engage in regular case conferences and team meetings, actively contributing to discussions on clinical strategies and cultural competency enhancements. \n
- Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy, continuously integrating knowledge into your clinical practice. \n
The primary focus of this role is to serve patients seeking support in a detox center, addressing the mental health aspects of substance use and recovery. Our clients come from various backgrounds, requiring a therapist who is adept and empathetic to the challenges faced by diverse populations. You will work with individuals navigating the complexities of detox and recovery, empowering them through thoughtful therapeutic approaches tailored to their unique journeys.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts. \n
- A deep understanding of mental health disorders and an ability to apply evidence-based treatment practices that are culturally responsive. \n
- Experience in providing both individual and group therapy with a focus on inclusivity and cultural competence. \n
- Strong crisis intervention skills, with a demonstrated ability to maintain composure in challenging situations. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering rapport with a diverse range of individuals. \n
- Proficiency in the use of electronic health records systems and related computer applications. \n
- A commitment to ethical standards, professional boundaries, and confidentiality in clinical practices. \n
- A collaborative spirit, integrating into a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care and support. \n

- Experience working in a detox or addiction recovery setting is highly desirable. \n
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches and culturally specific treatment modalities. \n
