Responsibilities Oversee the planning, development & implementation of high-level Public Information & Communication initiatives for the division; Manage complex strategic projects involving external organizations whose stakeholders include executives or local political entities. Serve as a liaison between the Strategic Communications Unit & the Colonels Office/Directors Office to ensure proper preparation for delivering remarks at events; Align internal & external messaging by identifying high-visibility or time-sensitive issues. Develop strategic communication plans to improve information sharing across internal & external agencies; Coordinate messaging between executive leadership, command staff, operational units & partner agencies. Formulate & implement new or modify existing policies & procedures for Public Information Programs, projects &/or initiatives; Provide recommendations & technical advice to support decision-making & identify corrective actions. Track Colonels Office & Directors Office projects; Identify assignments & timelines; Make prompt, informed decisions during developing situations. Qualifications Option 1 4 years of training or 4 years of experience in business administration, management science or public administration. Option 2 Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; and 2 years of training or experience in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position. Option 3 Completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; and 2 years of training or experience in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development. Option 4 1 year of experience as Program Administrator 1, 63122, or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
