Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse - PCU
• Location: Atlanta
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Night Shift
• Schedule: 3x12
• Experience Required: 2 Years
• Weekly Pay: $1700 to $1900

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized treatment
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, oxygen therapy, and other specialized equipment
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient status and emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care guidelines
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting

Requirements

• Active RN License in Georgia
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU, Step-Down, Telemetry, or Acute Care nursing experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• NIHSS Certification preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and managing complex patient conditions
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs effectively
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and nursing documentation systems
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
