What You’ll Do (The Impact) Lead, coach, and cross‑train a dedicated crew of 15‑25 manufacturing associates. Hit daily production schedules, manage labor allocation, minimize downtime, and solve workflow bottlenecks on the fly. Champion an uncompromising safety culture in strict alignment with Cal/OSHA standards. Use 5S and Lean principles to eliminate waste, improve quality, and make your shift the most efficient on the floor. What We Are Looking For 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing, processing, or high‑volume production environment. A people‑first leader who resolves conflict, boosts morale, and holds people constructively accountable. Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement and comfort using ERP systems to log data and track shift KPIs. Local to the Greater Sacramento area. Competitive salary: $70,000 – $89,999.99 per year. Shift: First. Work hours: 6 AM – 4 PM. Education: Associate degree required. Responsibilities Shift Leadership & Team Management Supervise, coach, and develop a crew of 15‑25 frontline production workers and machine operators. Manage shift scheduling, labor allocation, and daily time‑card approvals. Conduct performance evaluations, deliver constructive feedback, and address employee relations issues fairly and constructively. Cross‑train team members to maximize operational flexibility and reduce single‑point failures on the line. Production Execution & Quality Control Oversee daily operations to ensure production schedules, volume targets, and quality metrics are met or exceeded. Monitor equipment performance, coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime, and troubleshoot line stoppages quickly. Ensure all products meet strict quality control parameters, identify deviations, and execute root‑cause corrective actions immediately. Accurately log shift performance, output metrics, and waste data into the ERP system. Safety & Compliance Maintain and enforce an uncompromising culture of safety, ensuring strict compliance with Cal/OSHA standards and company safety policies. Conduct daily safety huddles, routine floor audits, and lead incident investigations/reporting if an event occurs. Ensure all team members are properly trained on machinery, PPE, and lockout/tagout protocols. Essential Functions Wear steel toe shoes. Manual lifting up to 50 lbs. Stand for 8 hours at one time.
