Financial Analyst – Key Details

• Position: Financial Analyst – Direct Hire
• Salary: $70K–$80K
• Benefits : This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401(k).
• Location: Monroe, NC
• Schedule: Fully in-office
• Hours: 8:00–5:00 or 7:30–4:30
• Dress Code: Business casual
• Reports to: FP&A Manager
• Team: Small team of 3; collaborative and easygoing environment
• Reason for Opening: Backfill due to internal promotion

What You'll Do

• Analyze manufacturing costs , including labor, raw materials, overhead and inventory
• Build financial models, forecasts and what-if/scenario analyses
• Support budgeting, rolling forecasts and strategic business decisions
• Analyze profitability, margins, production volumes and product mix
• Perform break-even, cost and payback analyses
• Create and maintain financial reporting tools and dashboards
• Present financial results and insights to management
• Compare operational metrics to financial results to understand business performance
• Identify financial risks related to commodities, supply chain, production and inflation
• Support month-end/year-end close , GL reconciliations and journal entries
• Look for opportunities to improve reporting, forecasting and financial processes
