Responsibilities Installation: Install tiles and stone (ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, etc.) on floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing them to ensure proper tile adhesion. Measuring and Cutting: Accurately measure and cut tiles to fit specific spaces, including around obstacles and into odd shapes. Adhesive Application: Apply mortar, mastic, or other adhesives to the surface and tiles to ensure a secure bond. Tile Setting: Position and press tiles into place, ensuring proper alignment, spacing, and even grout lines. Grouting and Sealing: Apply grout to fill the spaces between tiles and seal the grout to prevent staining and water damage. Cleaning and Finishing: Clean the tiled surfaces and ensure a professional, finished look. Troubleshooting and Repair: Identify and address any issues or damage to tiles or grout.
