This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work and wants to develop valuable skills in well drilling and water systems.No prior well drilling experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate!Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Drilling and Pump Technicians with daily job site activities.Load, transport, organize, and maintain materials, tools, and equipment.Assist with operating equipment such as backhoes, mini-excavators, and skid steers as needed.Help prepare job sites and support drilling, pump, and installation work.Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and job site requirements.Communicate professionally with customers and team members.Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and working on your feet for extended periods.Complete additional duties as needed to support field operations.QualificationsValid driver's license required.Ability to travel to job sites throughout the Baltimore area and surrounding regions.Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.Ability to work independently when appropriate and contribute effectively as part of a team.Ability to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds or more and perform physically demanding work, with or without reasonable accommodation.Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools preferred.Interest in learning well drilling, pump systems, and water treatment operations.Experience operating heavy equipment or towing trailers is a plus, but training may be available.Career Growth OpportunitiesWe are looking for individuals who want to develop their skills and build a long-term career in the well drilling and water treatment industry.As you gain experience, you may have opportunities to:Pursue a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).Advance into a Drilling Apprentice position.Earn industry certifications paid for by the company.Develop additional technical skills and advance into higher-level field positions.BenefitsCarroll Water offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Paid on-the-job training.Company-paid industry certification opportunities.Paid time off (PTO).401(k) with company match.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Company-paid basic life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance.Supplemental insurance options.Pre-Employment Requirements & Equal OpportunityEmployment is contingent upon successfully completing a pre-employment background check.
