You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in a related role for at least 7 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Principal I&C Project Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the ICE-U Projects Engineer Business Line in the Instrumentation & Control Business Unit. Your work will include:

• Develop novel/complex instrumentation and control (I&C) architecture solutions for nuclear power plant applications

• Design process control solutions using various DCS/PLC/SCADA platforms such as Triconex, Foxboro DCS, Wonderware/Aveva, TXS, Siemens, National Instruments/Labview

• Prepare detailed application, system, and hardware specifications based on project requirements

• Develop software design documents, requirement documentation, and test specifications

• Mentor junior staff in solving complex problems, analyzing solutions, and using standard procedures

• Plan, organize, and implement solution to address client's need ensuring compliance with government, organization, and customer engineering standards

• Lead plant site work - start-up and commissioning

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $112,000 - $152,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
