Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current California SLP license (or eligibility)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply
• Experience in school-based therapy or working with pediatric populations preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and fellow specialists
• Skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for students with diverse communication needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech, language, and communication assessments for students, identifying areas for intervention
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) supporting students’ unique goals
• Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress
• Consult with classroom teachers and parents, offering strategies to support carryover of skills
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings, staying aligned with school and district protocols
• Foster an inclusive and encouraging environment where every student can develop their potential
