CNC Lathe MachinistA confidential manufacturing company in the Greater Austin area is looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist to join their machining team.This is a hands-on CNC machining role for an experienced machinist who enjoys both setup and production. The position involves setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, verticals, or horizontals to produce high-quality components at or above established cycle times and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and adjust CNC lathes and mills with no supervisionChange tooling and make machine adjustments to hold tolerancesLoad/unload parts and run production cyclesRead blueprints, job orders, and GD&T specsInspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gaugesRequirementsMinimum 10 years of CNC Lathe Machine Operation experienceCNC lathe and mill experience requiredSkilled in G & M Code understanding with program editing abilitySetup and tooling changeover experience preferredAbility to read blueprints and use precision measuring toolsStrong math skills and mechanical aptitudeScheduleMonday through FridayAverage work week is 45 hoursOvertime availableTo apply: Submit resume confidentially to View email address on apply.j-vers.com.
