Overview:
Our federally qualified health center in Los Angeles is seeking a Bilingual Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive reproductive, prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic care as an independent clinician. This full-time role offers a consistent Monday Friday schedule and loan repayment opportunities as a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) scholar site.
Position Offers:
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Competitive pay: $80 90 per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive women s health evaluations, including well-woman exams, advanced clinical assessments, and management of gynecologic and reproductive health conditions
Deliver contraceptive counseling and family planning, including initiation, monitoring, and follow-up
Provide prenatal and postpartum care, including routine visits, risk assessment, care coordination, and follow-up
Perform office-based procedures within WHNP scope, including Pap smears, colposcopies, IUD insertion/removal, and other minor procedures
Offer patient education and counseling on reproductive health, family planning, sexually transmitted infections, and preventive care
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and behavioral health providers to implement coordinated care plans
Document all encounters, assessments, and care plans accurately and timely in the EHR
Adhere to California regulatory, compliance, and quality standards, participating in clinical protocols, audits, and performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Active, current Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in California
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Women s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)
Bilingual in English and Spanish required
Federally qualified health center or community health clinic experience, with quality improvement and telehealth familiarity, preferred
