Litigation Paralegal

A Florida law firm has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their Miami litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of civil litigation experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with attorneys representing clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including commercial litigation, product liability, insurance defense, transportation, professional liability, and other complex business disputes. Responsibilities Assist attorneys throughout all phases of civil litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal Maintain and organize litigation files, both electronic and physical Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, notices, and correspondence Review, organize, and summarize documents, deposition transcripts, and discovery materials Prepare deposition summaries, chronologies, and case management reports Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial logistics Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors Monitor litigation deadlines and maintain attorney calendars Assist with document production, exhibit preparation, trial notebooks, and courtroom support Perform electronic court filings in Florida state and federal courts Support attorneys with additional litigation-related responsibilities as needed Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of recent civil litigation paralegal experience Strong knowledge of Florida state and federal court rules and procedures Experience managing complex litigation files and large document productions Proficiency in preparing discovery, organizing case materials, and trial preparation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and litigation document management systems Trial experience is preferred Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
