Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, executing comprehensive physical exams, and meticulously reviewing past medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons in developing and implementing individualized surgical care plans
• Provide critical intraoperative support, ensuring operating rooms are prepared, patients are positioned safely, and surgical instruments are passed efficiently
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Education Requirements

• A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong emphasis on surgical practices preferred

Certifications Required

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
