Med/Surg Tele Float Pool RN

Location: Cleveland, OH

Assignment Duration: This is a contract position with the potential to extend for winter coverage up to 20 weeks, though 13 weeks will also be accepted at this time.

Schedule: Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day shifts: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Shifts may vary to meet the operational needs of the hospital.

Job Description: The Med/Surg Tele Float Pool RN will primarily work in the float pool, caring for patients in various settings, including units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department (ED). The role requires a focus on providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Float between various units as required to meet patient care needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for, with a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg/Tele experience.
• Must hold a valid Permanent Ohio license or a compact state license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS must be current and in hand at the time of submission.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Must work at least every other holiday.
