This leadership role requires expertise in supervising crews, coordinating complex pipefitting installations, and ensuring project delivery meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge of mechanical piping systems and a proven track record of managing successful commercial construction projects.## Responsibilities* Lead and supervise pipefitting crews on commercial building services projects.* Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily work activities to meet project deadlines.* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide installations.* Oversee installation, assembly, and repair of piping systems, including HVAC, chilled water, steam, hot water, and process piping.* Ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and OSHA safety regulations.* Conduct quality control inspections to verify accuracy and craftsmanship of work performed.* Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to maintain workflow and resolve job site issues.* Train and mentor journeymen and apprentices, promoting skill development and teamwork.* Maintain accurate daily reports, time records, and material usage logs.* Proactively identify potential delays or issues and recommend corrective actions.## Qualifications* Minimum **10 years of progressive pipefitting experience**, with at least **3–5 years in a supervisory or foreman role**.* Advanced knowledge of commercial mechanical piping systems (HVAC, hydronic, and plumbing systems).* Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.* Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage crews effectively.* OSHA 30 certification preferred; OSHA 10 required.* Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.* Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.* Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform tasks in varying job site conditions.## Benefits* Competitive compensation (DOE) with regular performance reviews.* Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.* 401(k) with company contribution.* Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave.* Ongoing training and professional development.* Opportunity for long-term career growth within a national building services leader.locations: Chandler, AZ (CSUSA-SW HQ)time type: Full timeposted on: Posted 30+ Days AgoAt Comfort Systems USA Southwest, we believe in the power of great people.
