Overview School Counselor Location: On-Site | 3 campuses (Tamaqua, Pottsville & Minersville) Salary: $32-34/hour Schedule: Full time 35 hours/week How You’ll Be There For Students Be their advocate, confidence builder, and difference maker. Play a critical role in supporting the behavioral, personal, emotional, and social development of students. Responsibilities Provide individual counseling with students, consultation services with school staff and parents, classroom developmental guidance lessons. Positively impact students’ educational, behavioral, social, and emotional well-being. Nurture student potential through personalized, small-group, and classroom counseling, focusing on academic, emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs. Empower parents and school staff by connecting them with community resources that align with students' unique needs. Ensure administrative excellence by completing accurate, efficient paperwork. Stay updated on field trends to enhance guidance and support for students. Foster trust and reliability by adhering to the Counseling Policy Manual, funding guidelines, and school procedures. Qualifications Master’s degree in counseling or related field. Experience working with elementary students desired. PA Elementary Certified School Counseling Certification. Pay Rate USD $32.00 - USD $34.00 /Hr.
