Operations Manager - South Bay

Ganahl Lumber Torrance Operations Manager Ganahl Lumber has been serving customers since 1884. Our Will Call department processes 75-100 orders daily, and we’re looking for an Order Pulling/Will Call Manager to lead the team and ensure efficient, high-quality service. Job Summary The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations of a 150-million-dollar delivery business, ensuring orders are processed quickly and accurately. The role involves managing the team, solving customer issues, and improving performance metrics. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Operations team alongside the current Operations Manager. Ensure timely and accurate order processing. Resolve customer issues professionally. Monitor performance and identify areas for improvement. Train staff of over 85 employees to improve service. Collaborate with other departments for smoother operations. Keep the Operations Departmental areas organized and efficient. Qualifications Experience in customer service or supervisory roles, preferably in retail or warehouse settings. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
