Raines has maintained a family-oriented culture that believes in building relationships with our associates, with our partners and within the communities where we operate.We offer Go Hilton Team Member benefits for all employees.Candidates who are willing to cross train in other departments (restaurant, Lounge) will be considered for full time employment (30+ hours per week) after a 90 day probationary period.Essential Job FunctionsGreet guests in a friendly, courteous and attentive mannerListens and responds to guest’s needsKnow how to read a banquet event orderMust be familiar with the menu and assigned functionSet up banquet space in accordance with banquet event orderMaintain clean working areaServe guests according to hotel’s standardsClean up banquet space after the completion of event or functionEnsure all banquet items are stored and put away properly and cleanReturns to the table throughout the guest’s visit to ask if they are satisfied, check for refills, clear items as needed from the tableAssist bartenders or other servers as neededPerforms side duties such as cleaning, rolling silverware, setting tables, sweeping, etcComplies with all health and safety regulationsMust be able to lift up to 50lbs and move tables, chairs and banquet equipment frequently.Experience and Education:Previous experience as server, busser, runner, host(ess)Understanding of banquet terminology and/or setupCertifications as required by Federal, State, or Local agencies ServSafe, TIPS CertificationMinimum High school diploma, GED or equivalentRaines is proud to be an Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
