ASCP - Histology Technician - FT Full-Time Respected Health System

MLR is partnering with a respected health system to recruit a meticulous Histology Technician for a full-time, permanent role. This key position is critical in delivering precise and timely histological services, directly supporting patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality histologic slides for microscopic examination through tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist with specialized staining procedures, including immunohistochemistry, for detailed tissue analysis.
• Accurately label, document, and track specimens, ensuring the integrity of patient information and test results.
• Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate reporting of findings.
• Stay updated on the latest histology techniques, safety regulations, and ASCP certification standards.

ASCP Histology Technician Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Histotechnology or a related field.
• Certification: ASCP certification as a Histology Technician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) is required.
• Experience: PreferredMore than 1 year of experience in a histology lab setting.
