CT Technologist

Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using computed tomography (CT) equipment. The technologist will prepare patients for procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort during scans, and maintain quality control of imaging equipment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to provide excellent patient care while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT scans and explain the procedure to alleviate any fears or concerns.
• Position patients accurately to obtain the best images for interpreting the physician.
• Operate CT imaging equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Document patient information and scan results following departmental protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ARRT certification in CT (or equivalent).
• State licensure as required by law.
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
