Job Description

• Develop Customized Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create tailored therapy strategies to help them reach their functional objectives
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply proven therapeutic techniques to enhance patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance and knowledge to patients and their families about therapeutic techniques and ongoing progress measures at home
• Track Patient Progress: Continually monitor and document patient developments, adjusting treatment methods as necessary to keep patients on the path to success

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Opportunities for continuing education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
