They are responsible for maintaining an organized workstation to assist with streamlining of products to their final destinations within our Automated system. They may assist with training of new hires, delivering and receiving product from the conveyor systems; interfacing with customers; processing of received goods; replenishing product within our automated picking system; fulfilling customer orders; reviewing and packing the orders to verify accuracy and ensure that the product is up to shipping standards./ph3Compensation And Schedule/h3p$19.57 hourly/ppMonday-Friday (5AM-1:30PM), Full-Time, Non-Exempt/ppONSITE: 2 Ontelaunee Drive - Reading, PA 19605/ppNOTE: As a seasonal hire you have a defined employment time period - up to 90 days from the date of hire./ph3What You Will Do/h3ulliOperate all material handling equipment needed to perform primary role (order picker cart)./liliPerform and complete daily safety inspections check list for all equipment used./liliEffectively utilize/operate and navigate the data collection equipment used in the department (RF Scanners, Tablets, etc.)/liliPerform discrepancy counts, recounts and user created cycle counts as assigned and directed./liliUnload/Load Trailers/liliProvide assistance support to all other functions within the department such as Case Pick, Restock, transfer, pulling, staging and checking./liliMaintain or exceed minimum productivity requirements CPH count per hour./li/ulh3What Were Looking For/h3ulliMust be 18 years of age/liliHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred/liliAbility to read and speak English/liliMust have reliable transportation/liliAbility to follow detailed instructions/liliAbility to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery/liliMust be comfortable using electronic devices/liliCan lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation/liliBasic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately/liliAbility to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information/liliMust be flexible with start and departure time changing/liliAbility to work overtime when needed/liliAbility to work independently without close supervision/liliResponsible for any additional duties assigned/li/ulh3Protective Equipment/h3pMust be able to wear proper safety equipment if required (examples include safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest). Note: PPE is company-provided with a $100 stipend on safety-toe shoes after 90 days of employment if required for your specific role - not all roles require specific PPE. Please check with your HR/Training team for details on if your role requires specific PPE./ph3Physical Demands/h3pThis position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision and hearing are required for the operation of warehouse machinery./ph3Working Environment/h3pEmployee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines.
