Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Summary:

A manufacturing facility in the Oconomowoc area is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join their team on first shift. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity focused on maintaining equipment and supporting facility operations with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Monday through Friday with flexible start times between 6:00am and 8:00am

Full time hours with consistent schedule

Pay ranging from $30.00 to $39.00 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities:Repair building structures including roofs, ceilings, walls, floors, and foundations

Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems within the facility

Use knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to diagnose issues

Maintain machinery to ensure proper working condition at all times

Perform general maintenance including carpentry, heating and cooling, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, welding, painting, and masonry

Follow safety policies and report any concerns or violations immediately

Prioritize maintenance tasks based on operational needs

Wear required personal protective equipment at all times

Follow food quality and safety procedures

Complete additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent

At least 3 years of maintenance experience or an industrial maintenance certificate

Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics

Valid driver's license

Strong communication and time management skills

Basic math and reading skills
