About the Role:
Join Keema Salon as an Assistant and be a vital part of our dynamic team in Burr Ridge, IL! This role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow in the beauty industry while providing top-notch service to our valued clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist stylists with various hair services and treatments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon environment.
- Prepare clients for services by providing consultations and refreshments.
- Manage appointment scheduling and client check-ins.
- Restock and organize salon products and supplies.
- Support marketing efforts by promoting salon services and products.
- Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance service quality.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology license preferred.
- Previous experience in a salon or customer service environment is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Passion for the beauty industry and a desire to learn.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
