Pride Health is hiring a Overnight Lab Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Gaithersburg, MD 20877. This is a 3 months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title: Overnight Lab Assistant

Location: Gaithersburg, MD 20877

Pay Range: 22-24/hr. on W2

Schedule: 3rd shift Tuesday-Saturday 12:00am-8:30am with a rotating Sunday

Duration: 03-04 months with possible extensions

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens.
\n
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information.
\n
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance.
\n
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues.
\n
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed.
\n
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested.
\n
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards.
\n

Education:

\n
• High school diploma or equivalent.
\n
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
\n
