Italian Audio Language Evaluator for AI Training

Role Overview

Help improve Italian-language AI systems by evaluating Italian audio and providing precise English-language feedback. This remote contract role focuses on the nativeness, fluency, and linguistic authenticity of spoken Italian. No previous AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to Italian audio clips and assess speaker or model-output fluency and nativeness.
• Evaluate pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity using established guidelines.
• Document clear, concise assessments and detailed justifications in English.
• Work with project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve language-content ambiguities.
• Share insights that support stronger Italian-language understanding and generation in AI systems.
• Complete assigned audio-review work accurately, on time, and to a high quality standard.

Qualifications

• Native-level Italian proficiency, spoken and written.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above, including strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to explain nuanced language differences clearly.
• Background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music or audio engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued.
• Experience in media, communications, or teaching is an asset.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $30 to $65 per hour.
