Italian Bilingual Audio Evaluator for AI Training

Role Overview

Help improve next-generation AI systems by evaluating Italian-language audio and providing precise, real-world linguistic feedback. This remote contract role draws on your Italian expertise to assess how naturally and accurately AI systems understand and generate the language.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to Italian audio clips and evaluate speaker or model-output nativeness and fluency.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity using established guidelines.
• Write clear, concise feedback in English, identifying relevant linguistic factors.
• Provide detailed justification for evaluations to support consistent results.
• Work with project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve language-content ambiguities.
• Share insights that improve Italian language understanding and generation in AI models.
• Complete assigned audio reviews accurately, on time, and to a high quality standard.

Qualifications

• Native-level Italian proficiency, spoken and written.
• At least B2 English proficiency, including written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to explain nuanced linguistic distinctions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
• Experience in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music or audio engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued.
• Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is an asset.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.
• No prior AI experience is required.

Compensation

$30 to $65 per hour.
